We can also assume this home will cost $162,775 to build depending on upgrades and extras. This home was purchased in June of this year. It was then torn down and is in the process of being built brand new from foundation to roof. It was purchased for $195,000. The home is listed at $429,000. They will not get $429,000 but if they do then it would be a $71,225 profit. The old rule is that if you can walk with $10,000 then it is worth the effort so they do have a lot of play with the price. I am just saying!
